Representatives of Vodacom’s commercial sector participated in the annual European Benchmarking Co-operation conference (EBC), held from 19 to 21 November 2025 in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The workshop focused on:
- analyzing performance gaps among utility companies, identifying trends and possible causes of variations
- sharing best practices and innovations — from reducing water losses, energy efficiency, and asset management to contemporary topics such as water resource availability, climate challenges, the Net Zero approach, tariff setting, the use of artificial intelligence, sustainability, and risk management
- enhancing professional cooperation through participant networking in a pleasant and constructive atmosphere.
- At this conference, Vodacom presented the benchmarking results for municipalities of Kotor and Ulcinj.
The annual benchmarking workshop is the central EBC event, bringing together participants from across Europe to jointly review the preliminary results of the assessment phase and define next steps.
