Care of Wastewaters

The rapid world population growth that has impacted on inevitable rapid water consumption growth has lead human civilization to the point where sustainable development becomes imperative and as such, it puts the care of wastewaters in the key place.

The care and treatment of wastewaters in the majority of European countries has equal importance with the care of water supply. The importance of proper wastewater treatment and need for decreasing of its quantity is reflected through introducing equal tariffs for water supply and wastewater disposal services in the majority of EU countries.

In Montenegro, solving of wastewater issues on the Montenegrin coast is envisaged through a Project implemented by Vodacom. When completing this Project Montenegro will become a leader in the water sector in the region and considerably improve environmental accountability.
